Austin-Healey was a brand of sports car that was established through a joint venture arrangement that was set up in 1952 by Leonard Lord of the Austin division of the British Motor Corporation and Donald Healey who was a renowned automotive engineer and designer. They produced cars until 1972 when their 20-year agreement between the two men came to an end.

In 1966, British Motor Company merged with Jaguar Cars to form British Motor Holdings. And in 1968, Donald Healey left the company while British Motor Holdings merged to become British Leyland. Donald Healey joined Jensen Motors who was now making the “big Healeys” in 1952 and became its chairman in 1972.

Men’s brains do not automatically protect their relationships in the same way but can be trained to do so by visualizing and planning how to avoid the enticement. Additional studies have shown that when strong love is at the forefront, it is harder for the brain to pay attention to, perceive and recall the appeal of an attractive outsider.

Why Blatter’s World Cup Expansion Is A Sham

We are about to head into an international week, a series of World Cup qualifiers from all over the World. Football lovers such as myself live for these types of tournaments, they are bigger than all the big leagues in Europe, because they generate interest from even the most indifferent of football supporters. I however, fear for the next few major world tournaments. FIFA and UEFA have clearly made some fundamental mistakes in selecting the hosts for the next few tournaments, and I can only hope that I’m proven to be wrong.

We just witnessed a wonderful EURO 2008 this year. It was a great spectacle, lots of goals, great matches, upsets and surprises. The best thing was that it was relatively incident free with regards to issues off the field. The tournament was conducted in a peaceful manner, and everyone, journalists, fans and players alike were satisified with “Swissaustria”. Fans travelled in numbers without any problems, and people watched around the world.

England Certain To Crumble In World Cup Qualifiers

Another international week means another interesting couple of days of international football. World Cup qualifiers dominate once again on every single continent where the race of the 32 spots is just beginning to heat up. We might not yet be at the business end of the qualifying tournament, however every point counts given a long qualifying campaign.

Starting off in the Africa, this weekend sees the continent play their last fixtures of the second round of qualifying. There are 12 groups of 4 teams, although some of these groups have now only got 3 teams in them due to teams withdrawing or being suspended for various reasons. It has become very chaotic which is not uncommon in Africa. In addition, these World Cup qualifers double up as qualifiers for the next African Cup of Nations, which means that South Africa also participates.
